Port seemed to be nice. HORRIBLE AMOUNT OF TIME IN PORT. Exiting cruise terminal and catching transportation to and from the city center CUT INTO TIME SPENT IN THE PORT. THAT WAS NOT GOOD. LOCATION OF SHIP'S TERMINAL OUT OF THE WAY.

We loved the Lumberjack show, gave it a 5. We also loved the tour of the Totem state park. That was great. and we enjoyed the time we had. We wished we had more time

No time, dock was far away from the town, long lines for the shuttle.

We got lucky, only a few sprinkles in the morning then no rain!

I liked the cove.

Really enjoyed the town. The ship is a 20 min bus ride from town and your time here is short. There seemed to be a lack of organization with the shore excursions. We were taking the boat back to the ship so that we didn’t have to worry about making that last bus at 11. There were no signs of where to meet and no one showed up until right before we were supposed to leave. My sister in law was on a different excursion (kayaking) and their bus was 30 mins late. She got back to the boat at all aboard time.

The crab feast was fantastic!

Wasn’t able to spend much time here. We were only allotted 5-6 hours and most things weren’t open due to day of arrival (apparently it was the day of rest). Also, didn’t help getting berated by a local for the decisions of the cruise line.

The Excursion itself, nature boat ride and crab feast were SUPER. We saw seals, bald eagles and of course crabs. They showed us the crab pots and how crabs are caught. Now for the bad part. Norwegian ports at the FURTHEST port from the city. Combined with the short amount of time off the ship means you do the Excursion and go back on the ship. Our bus met us at the port and took us to the Excursion and then picked us up and had to go straight back to the port. Couldn't stop in town for souvenirs. Also, if you just went to town instead of a excursion it took 30 to 40 minutes to get there and the last bus back to the ship leaves at 11 am. So you get off the ship around 7. You get in town, no earlier than 730 to 8ish and then need to jump on the last bus back by 11. At best 3 to 3 and a half hours to explore. When we 1st got there, no other ships were docked at the city. When we were passing by on the way back to our ship, there was 1 ship as big as ours docked right bt the city. I'm sure Norwegian uses the further dock to save on port charges, but charges the same fees as if we docked right by the city. They could extend the stay and offer shuttle services.
