Excellent but not enough time to spent.

Was a quick stop which was fine for us since we had been before but you should get in line early to catch the bus back.

We did Saxman Village Tour. It was an outstanding presentation of the Tlingit history way of life and beautiful totem poles

Shore excursion was amazing but not enough time at the port

We took an excursion thru another company. Not too impressed but cheaper than thru the cruise line.

NCL Encore really isn't set up for an enjoyable visit to this port of call. The ship docks at a location that is a very far distance from town. Lines for shuttles take over an hour - but you only have 4 hours in port. I will say that the shopping options at the Ward Cove port store were priced lower than what we saw in town and offered at a lower sales tax rate (2% vs 8%).

Problem is NCL and where it docks.

Not enough time and dock far too far away.

The rainforest was good.

way to short of a stay, only four hours and needed to be 8-12 hours.
