Yes we did to the totem poles. The excursion was very disjointed. Between having to shuttle into town and shuttle back AND a 45 minute wait in line for bus this was actually wasted time. You are in port for such a short period of time and most is spent getting into town and back! Very disappointed!

The bus back and forth from Ward Cove was not inconvenient as I'd been led to believe.

Only had 4 hours. Had to take a shuttle with long wait line, 30 minute ride, dropped you off 10 minute walk or longer to town. Didn’t make it to town had to turn around walk back in order to catch shuttle back to ship.

Our shore excursion (native village) was fine, but was very rushed because the company was very concerned about getting the people who chose the native village and the lumberjack show to the show. I would have been happier spending more time at the village and be transported on a different bus.

We went on the pub crawl, and were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the small town bars and their history. Full disclosure, we grew up in a small town.

No excursion taken. Many stores closed down. Was a bit disappointed the dock was no longer right downtown. 7 mile bus ride to the town. But it all went smoothly. Very nice welcoming center.

Lumberjack show was awesome! Cultural tour needs more culture in the presentation. Our original excursion (Jeep and Canoe excursion) was cancelled for some reason....prob due to the early season weather.

Out of all the AK ports, this one was the most organized and well managed in terms of ground transportation. They used school buses to shuttle passengers to/from Ward Cove. It was about a 10 min ride from port to town. Even with better experienced port staff and bigger and more shuttle busses, the lines and waits were crazy long.

This excursion was disappointing. The town looked beautiful but again, we weren't docked long enough to see it too.

We went into town on one of their buses, it was raining so hard that we walked around about 10 minutes then went back to the bus to return to the ship
