NCL's new dedicated dock with dockside shopping is nice, but the travel time to downtown detracts from the port visit. There were no other boats docked at the 4 berths downtown.

Would have picked a different excursion (or none at all) if I had known the ship docks 7 miles outside of town. With so little time in port, we never got to see Ketchikan at all.

Our excursion at this port was at 7:30 in the morning. We only had till noon so we really weren’t able to see any of the town itself. The Norwegian port is 7 miles away from town which is Not convenient at all. But the kayaking adventure we went on was very nice and we saw many animals while we kayaked in extremely smooth water with sunshine.

Lost at least an hour in port caused by mooring in Ward Cove, rather than in the city. Total time in port was also way too short. Poor planning

Disappointing. The town looked wonderful but NCL docks so far away and the bus ride back has such a long line that by the time we got to the actual town, the bus driver literally told us "see you in 45 minutes". So we really didn't see much.
