Should have spent more time in this port

I wish we had more time here :/

Didn't do an excursion, but wish we had. We walked and shopped the town.

Wilderness & crab feast Wonderful boat ride to pull up your crab nets and great crab

Worst port call EVER! NCL apparently bought Ward Cove which is about 2 miles from town. They only run the shuttles one way and stop going into town at 9am. We got to the dock around 9:20 and had to Uber to town. Very nice town, but waited over 1 1/2 hours in line to get back to the ship. Totally unsatisfactory. We will not cruise NCL if this port is included in the future unless they fix this mess. Other cruise ships were in port right in town. NCL dropped the ball on this.

We didn't get to see the port. Time there was to short. The harbor cruise we chose was good but it left no time to visit the port. Fortunately the cruise line had a nice big store on the dock to buy souvenirs at reasonable prices.

Too short. Our canoeing excursion was awesome! But that’s all we had time for, no time to see Ketchikan and our port was too far from town

In Ketchikan we took a great excursion to the bear sanctuary. We saw many wild bears up close, catching and eating salmon - it was amazing. We were also driven through and told about the town which was nice. Where our ship docked, in Ward Cove, whilst this is slightly out of the centre of Ketchikan, it had a large shopping warehouse, with good free wifi and an excellent opportunity to buy souvenirs!

We did a crab feast excursion but no time to visit the town or shopping as there was not enough time plus the NCL’s dock is so far way from the shopping area as other ports.

Finally!!!! was able to go to port after pitching a fit and demanding that what I had been promised was realized. BUT, had to ride the transport immediately back to ship. No time in port for sightseeing such as the totem, the forest museum, the native American museum, creek street, NOTHING.
