We loved it! Unable to go on our excursion based on shuttle traffic. We wish the port visit was longer. Beautiful day! Gorgeous views.

We did not enjoy the short 6am arrivals

Ketchikan is nice but did not like having to ride 20 minutes to get there from Ward Cove and you have to walk another 15 to 20 minutes to get into the main part of the town. The terminal at Ward Cove was nice.

NCL has its own port and warehouse of shops they dock at. You had to shuttle by bus into town or to take any excursion. The Totam Brite tour was not good, but the lumberjack show was. The time in port was extremely short and too early in the morning. I’d advise everyone not to schedule an excursion, but to go to town and explore on your own.

Did the bear walk. I liked it but only saw one bear. Felt again too touristy.

We didn't do any excursions but just walked the town. The salmon were running in the creek. Amazing watching them jump the falls or fish ladder. Then to see tens of thousands in the natural hatchery area.

The Neets Bear Encounter by Land and Sea was awesome. After a 45-minute boat ride (each way) We stood just 30-Feet safely away from bear fishing for salmon. It was amazing. Upon returning to the ship. We packed our suitcases. Later we ​met up with some folks we met on the excursion for tapas and drinks and talked about the last 8-days on this Alaska cruise. The martini tasting was great and the gave participants the reciepes.

We did the Deadliest Catch crab boat excursion and booked through shipmate. It was INCREDIBLE! Truly amazing. The crew of the Aleutian Ballad is very entertaining and informative.

Too bad the rain was excessive. No tours planned.
