Too short of time in this port. Great American Lumberjack show was very good! Creek Street was a good walk.

We weren't in port long enough to be able to enjoy Ketchikan and go on an excursion, which was disappointing. Since the new dock is so far from town there isn't time to do both. Many passengers felt it would've been better to stay in Ketchikan longer and skipped Victoria. Half of our family who was not doing a lengthy excursion was able to make a quick trip into town, but most stores or "attractions" weren't even open yet.

Nice town to visit. NCL docks at Ward Cove which is a long shuttle ride from town. The shuttle also stops running to town after a few hours, so you have no choice to head to town fairly early. It also stops running back to the ship about an hour before you leave, so again, you lose time. It also drops you off a bit of a walk from the main part of downtown where most people want to visit (areas like Creek Street). The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show is a lot of fun. Very entertaining.

We had to skip another scheduled excursion, but we had visited Ketchikan previously. This time the ship was moored too far from the town even to glimpse it. But, again, the ship was a very pleasant place to be with most of the passengers ashore.

Totem park was much more interesting than expected

I always enjoy Ketchikan and the boardwalk. The bus transfer from the Port was timely and I enjoyed the narrative of the bus driver. Unfortunately, the process does decrease your time in Ketchikan.

Had to be bussed into town. it's a short stay and not enough time to do much. very disappointed in this stop.

We went to the 8:00 a.m. Lumberjack Show, which was outstanding. Unfortunately, we were not docked long enough to explore the town before having to reembark on the ship at 11:45 a.m.. By the time the show was over, at approximately 10:30 a.m., we got back on the bus and got back to the ship at 11:00 a.m., which was not enough time to explore the city before the ship left.
