The Magic was a very nice ship.  It was clean and in all the staff was very good.  There were a few things that kept it from being a 5 star rating.   The were overall menu and service in the dining room. An example of this is I have never been on a cruise that beginning the 2nd night, the waiter didn't know exactly what anyone drank at the table (water, iced tea, lemonade, etc)  on this cruise he/she still asked on the last night.   This is a small thing but very noticeable.  and smoke in the casino, was unbearable.  The cabin steward was very nice and always had our cabin made up,etc.  The employees on the Lido deck were great.

Of the 25 cruises I have been on it was closer to the best than the worst.

Im looking forward to going on the Vista in February to see how it compares

I wish Carnival will add some single rooms that you do not have to pay double for and have them closer to other rooms so families can travel together.
