Carnival Victory

November 2017 - 3 Night Bahamas (Miami Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Victory

Do Not Book on Carnival escpecially the Victory Cruise

Love cruises, but not sure what it would take to book on Carnival. Certainly seems like their are so many better options out there. Biggest disappointment was staff, that for the most part, did not understand that a cruise ship is a hotel and that guest needs should only come second to safety. For someone in guest services to make the comment that they are not a hotel is the best example of employees not knowing their product resulting in a poor experience.

Cruise tips

Nassau, Bahamas

Love the island especially since we found our own activity and did not use the over priced excursions.

Miami, Florida

Miami is a great town always enjoys visiting with clients in the Miami area.

Unless you like motel 6 would not sail on Carnival. While the facility are adequate the staff for the most part do not seem concerned with the guest needs or wants. For example, I had visited with some clients while in Miami before the cruise. The client gave me a bottle of bourbon, which I put in a sealed bag. We had purchased the drink package so had no plans on drinking the bourbon. Carnival staff opened my luggage without me being present and supposedly through the bourbon out. I became even more irritated with this when I found out the procedure for buying bottles on the boat or at port. In this case bottles were confiscated and then returned at the end of the cruise. There is no reason that that could not be done with this bottle, there was already a facility in place to track and return bottles. When I brought the fact that I was dismayed that they would open a suite case without me being present, the lady at guest services just said that is our policy. Could of at least said while that is our policy but here is a credit to by a bottle while on board. Now the big question is what do I tell the client when he asks how I enjoyed the bourbon.
