A fantastic cruise with endless activities.

Ovation has it all. Had been warned about long waits for the attractions but did not find this the case. Used the Royal IQ app for our cruise compass and booking activities.

Food was great with good variety although after day 7 the menus repeat.

 

Staff where exceptional with no request being too much.

Would book Ovation again. The ports where never important to us as we came for the ship. But the excursion we did in KL was well run and informative.

This was a very good cruise.The first two days were at sea. My husband and I met a lot of nice people.We dined at 5;45 in Rhapsody in Blue. Everyone at our table engaged in conversation whenever we met. They were nice people. It was our anniversary so, on the first formal night, the waiters all sang to us and brought out a little chocolate dessert with a candle...cute. We took our bathing suits but didnt wear them because it was a little bit too windy and chilly. We were happy that we packed jackets and sweaters. The first port, Day 3,Cozumel was wonderful, it was bright and sunny, it felt like a vacation. We shopped and walked....that is always fun...spending..LOL. We opted not to take a tour but to walk and take pictures....so we caught a taxi into the shopping area where we spent our time. Day 4 we were in Grand Cayman...The tenders ran smoothly, no one tripped or fell even though there were some older passengers with walkers and canes.We did the island tour and turtle farm...The guide was very informative. Day 5 Falmouth Jamaica.....We did the 1700's great house and plantation tour. We had lunch and took pictures. This cruise was a delight, the only drawback, we had to pay for a water package or soda package. the cruise line really makes a lot of many from us so, why not include free wifi and internet in the packaging as well as free sodas??????That was the main drawback with this cruise. Unable to communicate with family and friends. You would think that RC would get with the times and allow WIFI for free..........other than that , i would take this cruise again or definitely use RC especially if they implement the guest having free WIFI.....that's all I am asking., seeing as how most hotels give this to their guest.
