I wasn't completely dissatisfied with this ship but it definitely needs updated. Lots of rust all over including our balcony. Sewage smell was bad off of lido deck as others have mentioned. Neither the cabin walls or cabin door are metal so don't waste your time bringing magnetic decorations or hooks like we did. Main dining area is very cramped. This is the first cruise I continually banged elbows during dinner. Positives were the staff. You will not run into an employee that does not greet you with a smile!

Carnivals lack of Customer Service
Even though the stewards, bartenders and waiters made our trip absolutely enjoyable, I will NEVER book through Carnival again. On our 4th night, our room got flooded by a broken water pipe in our ceiling. Clothing, shoes, suitcase got soaking wet. We were compensated on board with $33.00 and a free bottle of wine!!!! This was AFTER numerous trips to the service desk in tears!!! My clothes did get laundered and returned over 9 hours later!!!! When back home, I called Carnival and got a whopping $135.74 offered in additional compensation and NOTHING towards a future cruise in hopes to keep our business. offered an apology immediately (something we NEVER got through Carnival) and gave us a credit towards a future booking through them. Needless to say when we book again through it will not be for a Carnival cruise!!
