Excellent info nlcdn.

Thank You nicdn,

Some really good ideas, away from the limited ships excursions. I suppose I am thinking we still have the freedom from before the pandemic, people and businesses have suffered. With so much natural beauty and after spending so much time locked in doors or limited access to wide open spaces. I just want to be outside, watching wildlife with the only boundary of time.

Thanking you for your time

In regards to Corner Brook, Newfoundland- check this out

St. Johns', Newfoundland- capital city of the province. Your ship docks in the downtown area with museums, pubs, local shops plus you can check this site out.

Copy and paste these sites and do a little research on it, there is lots to see and do. Hope it helps.

This is not a wait and see if I feel peckish food. This is a , honey, we’ll be in Halifax on Thursday, frig the diet, leave the glucose monitor in the cabin, and just take the extra Metformin.

In Halifax you may want a snack. 2 words : Beaver Tails.
It’s a flat fried dough with various toppings. There is a shack that sells them down the pier from the ship……just ask someone.

Hi OldGreyWolf,

Thank you for your suggestions, the ship has a few, that's why I am looking for local knowledge. I really do not want to go shopping or having lunch.

Thanking you for your time

Each of those locations are going to have what you are looking for it is just a matter of finding it. You can try looking at what the ship offers and then try looking at some of the tour sites. Most offer a large variety of excursions. All of those destinations are relatively safe and you will find the people friendly.
