Anyone have an opinion on the port hole veranda cabin? I do not like the infinite veranda, cannot get traditional veranda in the new Edge series may have to stick to the Melenium class

Re: port hole veranda cabin - never tried it. I did have an infinite veranda on the Edge last year and never really enjoyed it as much as a traditional balcony cabin. One plus - when the 'curtain' is closed at night - the cabin is REALLY dark !! I was only able to one the actual 'window' portion of the balcony once in ten days (probably operator error on my part).
I am NOT in indoor cabin person, so I doubt I would enjoy a port hole veranda cabin. But different folks like different things.
Re: Stick to a class you like. My cruise line of choice changed the aft cabin design (tiers) on the newest class ship which I do not like. The older class had a vertical aft cabin design so looking up, or down, you did not see another cabin's balcony. Cruise the ships you enjoy. Best wishes.
