Ships with Fast & Robust Cell Phone & Wi- Fi Services

Happy Friday Community Members! A member is looking for a cruise line with fast and robust cell phone and wi-fi services. Voom from Royal Caribbean Line seems to have good reviews. Are there any cruise lines that are known for this?

It may depend on the carrier service as well. The last cruise I went on, we had coverage in our US port (Canaveral), but even then, the service was slow.

Back to the original question - admittedly, I have poor internet at home (6Mb) but while on the Regal Princess last year, the ship's internet was vastly superior to mine at home.

I thank all the reliable new sources aka Cruiseline Community members. Our member's input is invaluable. Have a great weekend!

- the people finally starting to wake up - all the fraud deceit lies coverup by the "CORP"

- difficult to sort through

-however the harmful effects can easily be tested, for example the same way

with testing the smart meters adverse effects

Up here in the Great White North we rely on The Beaverton https://www.thebeaverton.com/

Just took a look at that self-described news site -

It explains that the corona virus is a US Govt coverup, a conspiracy for global takeover, a byproduct of the "caner causing 5G networks",caused by electrical radiation and a bioterrorist attack against China.

If they cannot decide which story to publish, then I cannot believe any of them.

That is why I go to The Onion for the real news ;)

The newer Princess ships with Ocean Medallion might fit the bill for you... it's extremely fast wi-fi service - many say it's as good as home, and most enable "wifi calling" while on the ship. Unfortunately, I just cancelled my cruise where I was going to try it, so I can not give a first hand report :(

Right on !!

I can only comment on RCL and NCL and some of that info may be older but regardless of the ship capability and reputation the services will depend on where exactly in the world the ship is and also what the seas are like. When at sea the ships rely on satellite for communications. In some areas this is great but there are some not so great areas. Also in rough seas maintaining constant connection can be an issue so sometimes packets get lost due to ship connectivity issues.

From experience was found RCL (Anthem of the Seas in 2018) to have excellent wifi and network while NCL (Breakaway in Dec 2017) was ok but not as fast.
