River cruises ... the forgotten other side of cruising

Have ya'll done a river cruise ? I have a new obession with them, well mostly Viking and Uniworld. The idea of getting to go, and be, right were the action is all time seems amazing... The cons, well honestly, they seem to be geared towards an exclusive clientel base. Pros : You get to do a port of call everyday Alot of excursions are included in the price More elegant dining Cons: Only elegant dining Small....small ships.. Potential boredom while at 'sea'. Please share your thoughts!
