I'm looking for suggestions for a pre-cruise hotel in Ft Lauderdale? Preferably ones that also include complimentary shuttle to the ship. Thank you!

Seconding the Embassy Suites, I've stayed there many times. You can even see the Everglades from there!

I love Embassy Suites as it's located just down from the port and there is a Publix grocery store and liquor store in the plaza behind the hotel. Perfect for stocking up on wine to take on board or if you forget anything. Also several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Also, like Pier 66 but make sure to get a tower room as the lanai rooms tend to have a mold/mildew smell.
