Canada closed until July?

If Canada closes it's cruise ports to ships with more than 500 people on them until July, Alaska cruises won't be able to start until July. (unless the Jones Act is suspended)….I'm not on an Alaska cruise, but I'm on a three week repositioning cruise on the Bliss on April 19th, from NYC to Seattle. If Alaska is closed, I can't see why NCL would bother to send a ship to the West Coast, just to sit at a port.

Uncertain times for sure.

Unless they find a port in Russia across the Bearing Strait to visit i would not plan on anything going to Alaska. The ship may still go to Seattle and do cruises down to one Mexican port and back with other US ports in between.

As for suspending the Jones act I doubt that will ever happen as that affects a lot more than just the cruise industry. and would open up a whole huge ugly can of worms.
