Bermuda weather

How is the water in Bermuda in late may ? Can you go in? Thank you

Honestly it depends. If from the Northern parts of the USA or in Canada you will find the waters, especially on the south shore in late May a bit cool but fine for a swim or snorkel, but would definitely use a 1/2 wet or dry suit for a dive (the north shore with better off beach snorkeling will be colder). If from the South you will find the waters will feel too cold (compared to home) and might want to bring a thermal rash guard shirt to wear while in the swimming. The easiest way to think of a comparison water temp is could you conceive of swimming at the beaches of northern South Carolina on the same set of dates.

It's absolutely gorgeous! Been to Bermuda several times, I always try to go late May!

Should be good. Got to remember that Bermuda is right in the middle of the gulf stream. We were there in November and the waters were wonderful.
