May 2015 - 4 Night Catalina & Baja Mexico (Los Angeles Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Imagination
Awesome for family
Carnival Imagination
Sail date: May 24, 2015
We went as a family with a 12, 14, and 17 year old. This was our first cruise and we loved every minute of it. The comedy shows were funny and appropriate for our children. The Rock n Roll show was very entertaining. My 17 year old loved his "club" for 15-17 to hang out. The 12 & 14 year old not too much. They didn't want to awkwardly hang out. We danced the night away as a family on the boat at MN. A great experience. The food was amazing. We ate alligator, frog legs, and lots of great food. It was never ending. The excursions for Catalina were a little pricey x 5 so we opted not to do any (plus it was cold that day and we did not want to go into water.) Ensanada was great. We were approached by a local touring company near the boat and went on these awesome zip lines and suspension bridges and rode horses on the beach for an hour. He took us to down town for an hour of shopping and some sightseeing. The total was $265 for five people. We had basically a personal driver for the day. The service on the cruise was amazing. Our room was cleaned throughout the day and in the dining hall was awesome. My son and his friends got a personal magic show when they were sitting in a lounge. One of the best vacations ever.
