April 2019 - France, Spain and Guernsey Cruise on Britannia

Good week on this huge ship. Very friendly crew and food was excellent. Ate at Sindhu and the Beach House. Couldn’t fault them at all. Usual moaning lot on board who couldn’t enjoy themselves if they tried! Petty whining and nonsense. Weather wasn’t the best but we can’t order that! Cabin was spotless and the gym was too. Storm Hannah prevented us from stopping off at guernsey so we arrived in port at Southampton on Friday evening to avoid the wind etc. Looking forward to my next adventure:)

Ventura

November 2018 - Portugal and Spain Cruise on Ventura

Home from 11 nights on Ventura doing the Med/Gib/Lisbon. Weather was a bit crazy but not utterly terrible and Cartagena was stunning. I got such a vibe from the place and fell in love with it. Met some truly great people (Phil and Mike) who made my holiday better in every way. Food was top notch. I ate in The Beach House and Sindhu. Well worth the extra spend. The downside was that deck 14 stunk! The smell was awful. Toilet smell (being polite). I’ve written to P&O about this. It was a case of ‘hold your nose and run,’ which is what I did! I love Ventura. She’s a great ship and I’ll be going on her again soon but P&O really have to sort the smell out! Quickly. Big love

Britannia

March 2018 - France, Spain and Guernsey Cruise on Britannia

Enjoyed my week on Britannia. She’s a fine vessel for sure. Was full as it was Easter week and lots of kids (well behaved, I might add) on board. Rowdy young drunk people too! Not as well behaved. Cue me shouting off my balcony at 0245 for them to ‘behave!’ Perhaps not in those words, but you get the point. I ate at Sindhu and the Beach House. Both were excellent and well worth the extra money. Cabin was spotless and the steward, Iris, was amazing. Discreet and ridiculously polite. Disembarking was a doddle. Was off the ship in 15 minutes. Delighted. If you’re going on Britannia, enjoy :)

Oceana

November 2017 - Spain and Portugal Cruise on Oceana

9 days on Oceana. Bipolar weather and great food but the ship was due for refit. Badly! So much so, the work was being carried out while the ship had paying passengers. Not funny or fair. Still, I love Oceana. She has real charm and the staff were wonderful which helped a lot. Hope to travel on her soon.

Great week aboard Ventura. Perfect weather and calm seas. Happy days. Food was top notch as always. Dined at Sindhu and a few others. Really enjoyed it. Shame the price is so ridiculous for solo travellers tho.
