Virgin Voyages Names Fourth Ship ‘Brilliant Lady’

Today Virgin Voyages announced that it will name its fourth ship ‘Brilliant Lady’. The vessel is slated to make its official debut in 2023. 

Like sister ships, Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, and Resilient Lady, the new Brilliant Lady has been named by Virgin Voyages to celebrate ‘women’s strong, fierce, and independent spirits’. 

"We sought out a name that exemplifies our brand’s values and ethos, the truest representation of our mission to Create an Epic Sea Change For All.’ As our goal has always been to create a bright and radiant experience for our Sailors — much like the sparkling seas Brilliant Lady will sail on — it was only appropriate that our fourth ship name reflect that.” 

Itineraries and mermaid hull design of Brilliant Lady are set to be revealed at an upcoming date by the cruise line. 

Two of Virgin Voyages’ ships will make their inaugural sailings (aka ‘MerMaiden’ voyages) later this year. Valiant Lady is slated to begin cruising this May from Barcelona and will reposition to its new home in Miami this fall. Resilient Lady will begin sailing this August from Athens, Greece. 

Scarlet Lady is sailing from its home at PortMiami, offering a variety of Caribbean cruises. Most include a stop at the line’s new private destination the Beach Club at Bimini.
