Virgin Voyages Announces New Itineraries Through April 2025

Virgin Voyages has announced a number of new itineraries through April 2025 for its four ships. These 27 sailings will visit 19 new ports, featuring a return to the UK and ports in Australia and the Caribbean.

The adults-only cruise line will offer a total of 63 itineraries to destinations around the world. Among the new options are what Virgin is calling its ‘Seachange Series’, reimagined repositioning voyages that allow guests to extend their holiday and explore the world for longer periods. 

“Our loyal sailors have been asking for more places to visit with us, so we’re delivering in a big way. New ports, new itineraries and more local and immersive experiences to create unforgettable getaways,” said Michelle Bentubo, SVP Service Excellence and Travel Operations. “From Morocco to Mooloolaba, Amsterdam to Bordeaux, Catania to Port Douglas, we now offer more than 120 incredible places you can explore aboard our award-winning ships you know and love. After all, it’s not just about where you go; it’s about who you go with and make a holiday one to remember.”

Following is a look at the newly announced itineraries from Virgin Voyages by ship. 

Resilient Lady

Following a successful inaugural season in Australia, Resilient Lady will head to Europe come summer 2024. The ship will homeport from Athens for May - July 2024, sailing a mix of ‘Greek Island Glow’, ‘Adriatic Sea and Greek Gems’, and ‘Starry Nights in Greece & Croatia’ itineraries. Mid-August through September 2024, Resilient Lady will head to the U.K. for a mix of three to six-night cruises to Spain, France, Amsterdam, and Belgium. This ship will sail two repositioning voyages from Portsmouth to Barcelona, as well as close out its Europe 2024 season with a Barcelona to Athens voyage. 

Come October 2024, Resilient Lady will sail a 44-night repositioning cruise from Athens to Australia, making stops in Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, and Bali. When the ship reaches Australia in late 2024, it will sail 15 brand new itineraries with port visits to Broome, Albany, Adelaide, Newcastle, Mooloolaba, Port Douglas, Brisbane, Eden, and Kangaroo Island.

Valiant Lady

Valiant Lady will start its Winter 2023 season come October 2023, with a return to Miami. The ship will sail ‘Eastern Caribbean Antilles’ and ‘Western Caribbean Charm’ itineraries until January 2024. Following, the ship will homeport from San Juan for Southern Caribbean voyages from January through March 2024. 

Come April 2024, Valiant Lady will take over Scarlet Lady’s four and five-night Caribbean itineraries.

Scarlet Lady

From May - October 2024, Scarlet Lady will sail seven-night ‘Irresistible Med’ and ‘French Daze and Ibiza Nights’ cruises in the Mediterranean. Come early November 2024, the ship will sail an 11-night repositioning voyage from Barcelona to Rome. 

Scarlet Lady will spend a short period in the dry dock for general maintenance, enhancements, and recalibrations. 

Upon its return, the ship will sail a 16-night Transatlantic voyage from Rome to Miami with calls in Funchal and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Scarlet Lady will arrive in Miami on December 14, 2024, for six- and eight-night Caribbean cruises through the Spring of 2025.

Brilliant Lady

As previously announced, due to construction, supply chain, and staffing challenges, Brilliant Lady’s launch has been delayed. Guests with bookings that have been canceled will be refunded, as well as receive exclusive rebooking perks and onboard credit offers for new sailings. 

“We’ve built a brand that has taken the industry by storm, but even the strongest businesses face unforeseen challenges every now and then,” Bentubo added. “We are sorry that our Sailors and First Mates who were excited about Brilliant Lady will have to wait a little bit longer for her launch. We know they will love the new itineraries as much as we do, and we look forward to welcoming them on board.”

Virgin Voyages will offer anyone impacted by Brilliant Lady’s postponement options to rebook and receive $300 - $600in Sailor Loot or a full refund on the cruise. Sailors wanting to re-book will receive 30% off Med 2024 voyages and up to a $600 Bar Tab when they book by September 28, 2023 A select number of Caribbean sailings and repositioning voyages are eligible for $500 off.
