The first Royal Beach is one step closer to reality as Royal Caribbean received approval from the Bahamian Government. Located at the western end of Paradise Island in Nassau, this 17-acre beach club will create the ultimate beach experience for passengers. As it will be known, the Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island is slated to open in 2025 and is a public-private partnership in which Bahmaians can own up to 49% equity in this new venture.

“The Bahamas has been a phenomenal partner since the very start, when they became our first port of call more than 50 years ago,” said Michael Bayley, president, and CEO, Royal Caribbean International. “As we continue to bring millions of visitors to experience attractions throughout Nassau each year, The Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island is the next bold adventure in Royal Caribbean’s commitment to both increasing tourism in The Bahamas and delivering memorable vacations to our guests.”

The Royal Beach Club will feature private cabanas, several pools, and magnificent beaches, a hallmark of the Bahamas. More than just a day at the beach, cruisers will experience traditional Bahamian cuisine, island-style barbecues, live music, local artisans, and more.

The 17 acres of the beach club will consist of 13 acres owned by Royal Caribbean and the remaining 4 acres of Crown Land. This first-of-a-kind equity stake by the Government of the Bahamas will allow profits to be shared back with the community. Additionally, the jobs created from this endeavor will help support the local economy and benefit the entire island community.
