Princess Cruises has announced the itineraries for its 2025-2026 Americas season in the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Mexico, and the California Coast. The season is to be headlined by the winter/spring voyages on its upcoming new ships Sun Princess and Star Princess which will both sail Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Fort Lauderdale. 

The newly announced season from Princess will consist of 278 cruises departing from seven homeports - San Francisco, Los Angeles, Galveston, Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, New York City, and Vancouver. 

“Our 2025-26 Americas program is our largest ever offered, making it convenient for guests to drive to their nearby port or take a short flight to enjoy a spectacular Princess cruise,” said Terry Thornton, chief commercial officer of Princess Cruises. “Sun Princess and Star Princess will deliver epic vacations and magnify the beauty of the Caribbean by offering guests the most celebrated views and vantage points available of the islands’ crystal blue waters and exotic charm.”

Among the feature sailings will be a celebratory Mexican Riviera cruise on Royal Princess, a throwback marking the 60th anniversary of the very first Princess cruise that set sail on Princess Patricia in December 1965. Commemorative events will be held during this sailing, as well as an overnight stay in Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta. Also making history will be Sky Princess being the first Royal Class ship of the fleet to ever homeport at Port Canaveral. 

Following is a detailed look at Princess’ 2025-26 Americas cruise season by region. 

Caribbean

Princess will send 10 ships in total to the Caribbean in the 2025-2026 season, its largest deployment ever in the region. The cruise line will sail a total of 178 total departures of 25 unique itineraries, ranging from four to 20 days. In total over the span of the season, Princess will cruise to 29 destinations in 22 countries throughout the Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean.

Sailing from Fort Lauderdale will be Star Princess, Sun Princess, Majestic Princess, and Enchanted PrincessStar Princess and Sun Princess sail seven-day Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises on Saturdays and Sundays Majestic Princess to sail eight-night Southern Caribbean sailings to the ABC Islands, as well as eight-day Eastern Caribbean and six-day Western Caribbean voyages. Enchanted Princess to sail 10-night Southern Caribbean voyages and 10-night Eastern Caribbean with Tortola or St. Kitts

Regal Princess will sail from Galveston on seven-day Western Caribbean voyages. Sky Princess to sail from Port Canaveral on eight-night Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings and six-day Eastern Caribbean voyages. Also in the Caribbean will be Enchanted Princess, which will sail a special 12-day New York to Ft. Lauderdale voyage visiting the ABC Islands. 

Panama Canal

Princess Cruises to deploy five ships to sail the Panama Canal in 2025-2026 - Caribbean Princess, Island Princess, Coral Princess, Emerald Princess, and Sapphire Princess. The line will offer 28 total departures on eight unique itineraries. In total, Princess will sail to 27 destinations in 13 countries throughout Central America and the Caribbean. Two types of Panama Canal voyages will be offered: 

  • 12-night roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale with partial transits of the Panama Canal
  • Ocean to ocean with full transits of the Panama Canal. Options include: 16-day voyages between Fort Lauderdale and Los Angeles or San Francisco, 18-day cruises between New York and Los Angeles, and a 23-day adventure from Vancouver to Ft. Lauderdale. 
 

Mexican Riviera 

Three Princess Cruises ships will sail the Mexican Rivera in the 2025-2026 season - Emerald Princess, Royal Princess and Ruby Princess. The cruise line will offer 31 total departures on four itineraries departing from Los Angeles or San Francisco. Voyages range from seven to 14 days.

Among the highlights in this region will be 10-night Baja Peninsula & Sea of Cortez cruises from Los Angeles on Emerald Princess. Another feature will be 11-night Ruby Princess Mexico cruises, sailing roundtrip from San Francisco. 

California Coast

Seven Princess Cruises ships to sail the California Coast in 2025-2026 - Caribbean Princess, Coral Princess, Discovery Princess, Grand Princess, Royal Princess, Ruby Princess and Sapphire Princess. The line will offer 21 total departures on nine itineraries from Los Angeles, San Francisco or Vancouver. Following are highlights by ship:

  • Royal Princess to offer seven-day Classic California Coast voyages from Los Angeles, with late-night stays in San Francisco and San Diego, as well as four- and five-day West Coast Getaways with late-night stays in San Diego or San Francisco.
  • Ruby Princess will sail from San Francisco year-round offering five- and seven-day California Coast voyages, and seven-day Pacific Northwest Coast cruises with late-night stays in Victoria, Vancouver and Seattle.
  • Coral Princess to sail 11-night California Coast cruises from Vancouver with late-night stays in San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Hawaii & South Pacific

Five ships to be deployed in Hawaii and South Pacific region for 2025-2026 - Coral Princess, Emerald Princess, Island Princess, Ruby Princess, and Sapphire Princess. These voayges will sail to 23 destinations in 11 countries, on 20 total departures and five itineraries. Cruises range from 16 to 54 days.

Travelers looking for the ultimate vacation can opt for some of the line’s longer cruise offerings in the region. Princess to offer three voyages to Hawaii and the South Pacific, including one that ventures to Hawaii, Australia, and New Zealand. Highlights include: 

  • 16-day Hawaiian Islands sailing roundtrip from Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Vancouver with a late-night stay in Honolulu on every cruise.
  • 32-day South Pacific Islands & Hawaii cruises from Los Angeles with late-night stays in Honolulu and Tahiti. 
  • Island Princess to sail roundtrip from Los Angeles on a 54-day South Pacific, Australia & New Zealand voyage. This cruise will visit 16 islands including Fiji, Samoa, and Tasmania.
