Luxury operator Oceania Cruises celebrated the float out of its newest ship Allura at the Fincantieri Shipyard in Italy. This marks an important milestone in the construction of the 1,200-guest vessel, as it moves one step closer to completion. Allura was floated from the dry-dock and moved to the fitting-out berth to begin outfitting the interiors.

"The float out is an important moment for all at Oceania Cruises and Fincantieri, as we progress closer to Allura joining our family. Now that we have completed her shell, we are excited to get started on her interior. We have lots of exciting enhancements on Allura, our eighth vessel, further elevating our offerings and firmly cementing Oceania Cruises as the only ultra-premium cruise brand," said Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises.

Allura now enters the final stages of its construction, with work now focusing on its suites, lounges, and restaurants. All are being designed to embody Oceania Cruises' commitment to culinary excellence and destination immersion.

The new ship will officially enter service from Trieste, Italy, on July 18, 2025. Its maiden voyage will cruise six days to Athens, Greece, calling on ports in Croatia, Italy, and Montenegro.

Following Allura’s summer season in the Mediterranean, it will sail to Canada and New England for voyages in North America before its premiere winter season in the Caribbean homeporting from Miami. Allura will also be conducting a one-of-a-kind four-day voyage sailing roundtrip from New York City in September of 2025.

Allura is the eighth vessel for Oceania Cruises and the line's second 1,200-guest Allura Class ship. Ship highlights include a new onboard crêperie, luxurious new library, five specialty eateries, most spacious standard staterooms at sea (at 291 sq ft), a robust onboard enrichment program, and an expansive Culinary Center and Chef's Studio. Allura features one chef for every 10 guests, and 50% of crew members are dedicated to culinary.
