Holland America Line Announces Summer 2021 Return
Today, Holland America Line announced its plans for a return to cruising this Summer following a year-long suspension of operations. Beginning this August the line will offer 7-night Greek Isles cruises on the Eurodam. All cruises will sail roundtrip from Athens (Piraeus).
These newly released sailings on Eurodam will be offered August 15, 2021 - September 5, 2021. Itineraries are slated to include:
· 7-Day Idyllic Greek Isles Roundtrip Piraeus: August 15 and August 29
· 7-Day Ancient Wonders, Roundtrip Piraeus: August 22
· 7-Day Adriatic Allure, Piraeus to Venice: September 5
"Everyone at Holland America Line has been preparing for our return to service, and we are grateful to the government of Greece for allowing us to show that we can safely operate our cruises," said Gus Antorcha, president of Holland America Line, in an official announcement. "The beautiful islands of Greece have been a highlight of our Mediterranean itineraries for decades, and we are honored to be able to restart out of Athens and give our guests a memorable vacation after all this time without cruise travel.
In addition to the previously released health and safety protocols, Holland America Line will require all guests sailing with the line to have received the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to boarding.
The Summer 2021 cruises from Holland America are eligible for ‘Have It All’, a new pricing package that will include four of the line’s amenities included at 50% savings. The amenities include: Shore Excursions, Drink Package, Specialty Dining, and Wi-Fi (worth $99 per passenger per day). Have It All will be available, year-round on cruises of 6-days or longer (excluding Grand Voyages).
Eurodam Summer 2021 sailings go on sale starting May 6, 2021.
