Holland America Line has announced the itineraries for its 2025-2026 Mexico and Pacific Coast cruises. These sailings will take place from August 2025 - May 2026, and range from one night to a 29-night Collectors’ Voyage.

Highlights of the newly-announced cruises include longer calls at unique ports like Mexico’s Loreto and Topolobampo, and a new seven-night “Great Bear Rainforest” itinerary. This special voyage (departing Oct. 5, 2025, and April 19, 2026) aboard Noordam will sail roundtrip from Seattle and explores Ketchikan, Prince Rupert, Nanaimo, and Victoria.

“This in-depth exploration of the PNW takes guests through the historic Inside Passage, sailing through some of the most confined waters our ships have ever sailed, said Paul Grigsby, vice president of deployment and revenue planning for Holland America Line.  “This is the true Inside Passage, the storied route between Seattle and Alaska that ships have been sailing since as far back as the gold rush era.  It is a first for our company to plan a sailing focused on this fjord-like waterway that maximizes a daylight transit to allow best opportunities for wildlife sightings,” added Grigsby.

Ten additional itineraries along the Pacific Coast will call on Astoria, Oregon, Santa Barbara, Ensenada, or San Francisco. Holland America’s Mexico cruises will call on Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Guaymas, or Santa Rosalia, Mexico.

Following is an in-depth look at Holland America Line’s upcoming Mexico and Pacific Coast cruise season by region.

Pacific Coast

Pacific Coast cruises will be offered on Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, and Zaandam. Sailings are roundtrip (or between) Vancouver, Seattle, or San Diego.

Itineraries include:

  • A one-night "Pacific Northwest" getaway from Vancouver and Seattle.
  • Four, five, and six-night "Pacific Coastal" itineraries sailing between San Diego and Vancouver. Four-night cruises call at Avalon or Santa Barbara. The five-night voyages visit San Francisco, and the six-night sailing includes an overnight in San Francisco.
  • As mentioned, the “Great Bear Rainforest” is a seven-night roundtrip from Seattle calling at Ketchikan, Prince Rupert, Nanaimo, and Victoria.
  • A six-night "Wine Country and Pacific Northwest" cruise to sail from San Diego to Vancouver with visits to Victoria and San Francisco (overnight). A seven-night cruise adds Avalon, Astoria, and includes a late-night departure in Victoria.
  • The "Classic California Coast" itinerary is a seven-night roundtrip from San Diego and calls at Avalon, San Francisco (overnight), and Ensenada.
  • One four-night “California Retreat” sails roundtrip from San Diego, and calls at Ensenada, Avalon, and Santa Barbara. Another four-night itinerary will go roundtrip from Vancouver, calling at Astoria and Victoria.

Mexico

Two ships will offer Mexico itineraries in the coming 2025-2026 season - Nieuw Amsterdam and Zaandam. Cruises are roundtrip from San Diego or between San Diego and Vancouver.

Itineraries include:

  • Seven-night "Mexican Riviera" cruises with stops in Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, and Cabo San Lucas.
  • The seven-night "Baja Peninsula" itinerary visits La Paz, Loreto, and Cabo San Lucas. A 10-night "Mexican Riviera and Sea of Cortez" itinerary includes all five of the ports on the seven-night sailing and features a late-night call in Loreto. The 11-night cruise adds Manzanillo, Mexico, while the 12-night voyage adds scenic cruising Bahia Magdalena.
  • The 11-night “Mexican Riviera and Pacific Coast” cruise departs San Diego, calling at Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, and Mazatlan before heading north to call at Avalon and ending in Vancouver.
