First Look at Virgin Voyages’ Alaska Itineraries

Virgin Voyages is headed up to the Last Frontier in 2026. The cruise line’s upcoming new ship Brilliant Lady will offer 17 new voyages to Alaska in the summer of 2026 as it celebrates the grand finale of its North American tour. Bookings for Virgin Voyages’ first Alaska season open to presale passholders on October 31, 2024, and for the general public on November 13, 2024. 

Brilliant Lady will sail seven- to 12-night itineraries, departing from Seattle and Vancouver. Port stops include 12 destinations in Alaska and Canada. On shore, guests can opt for Virgin Voyages’ Shore Things tours for salmon fishing, glacier trekking, lumberjack shows, dog sledding, and more.

The MerMaiden voyage for Brilliant Lady’s Alaska season (May 21-28), sails from Seattle to Ketchikan, Sitka, Prince Rupert, and includes a day sailing the Tracy Arm Fjord. 

Brilliant Lady will offer sailors a front-row seat on an adventure of a lifetime and the chance to witness majestic wildlife like bald eagles, seals, and whales in their natural habitat along the way. Sailors can wrap up in provided warm, knitted cabin blankets with a cup of hot cocoa or glass of champagne, and marvel at the beauty of the scenery. 86% of staterooms on Brilliant Lady boast balconies with hand-woven hammocks. 

On sea days, guests can enjoy the views from The Athletic Club, The Dock, and The Runway - a suspended running track. For foodies, new “Treat Yourself” culinary enhancements from Virgin Voyages will feature locally sourced Alaskan seafood served onboard.

Brilliant Lady’s 2026 Debut

Debuting in September 2026, Brilliant Lady will offer an inaugural season in New York. Voyages from Miami, LA, and Seattle come in the months that follow, including a 16-night sailing through the Panama Canal. 

In addition to Alaska itineraries, the brand is unveiling an additional seven-night itinerary on Brilliant Lady from Los Angeles. Highlights include Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlàn, and Puerto Vallarta.

Always included is built into every fare on Brilliant Lady. This includes specialty dining, essential beverages, high-speed wifi, gratuities, group fitness classes, and entertainment.
