Explora Journeys Releases Summer 2026 Itineraries

Luxury operator Explora Journeys has shared details for its summer 2026 cruise itineraries onboard EXPLORA I, EXPLORA II, and its upcoming vessel EXPLORA III. The future season explores new destinations across Northern Europe, Iceland, Greenland, the east coast of the US and Canada, and the Mediterranean. 

New ship EXPLORA III will launch in the summer of 2026, with a 7-night maiden journey on August 3 from Barcelona to Lisbon. The ship’s inaugural season will see it sail the Atlantic coast of Portugal and France, to the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe. The ship will next sail westward, cruising to Iceland and Greenland, and then to North America. EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II will once again offer Mediterranean cruises, exploring the region’s captivating coastlines as well as lesser-traveled destinations. 

Highlights of EXPLORA III’s Summer 2026 Season

EXPLORA III’s inaugural season begins in the Mediterranean, visiting iconic destinations such as Barcelona, Ibiza, and Marbella, Spain. The ship will next call on Lisbon, the Bordeaux, and Saint-Malo on the French Atlantic Coast before reaching the UK. 

From Southampton, the ship will head to Northern Europe, exploring the Baltic Sea and Scandinavia, making maiden calls in ports including Flåm in Norway, Riga in Latvia, and Aarhus in Denmark. 

Next, EXPLORA III journey continues northward through Ireland and Iceland, and then Greenland. Following, the ship will make its way to North America's East Coast and New England, calling on Quebec City and New York.

EXPLORA I and II Sail the Mediterranean

EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II will once again return to the Mediterranean in the summer of 2026. Both ships will visit Santorini and Corfu in Greece, Naples and Sorrento in Italy, Saint-Tropez in France, Split in Croatia, Kotor in Montenegro, La Valletta in Malta, Lisbon in Portugal, and Istanbul in Turkey. They will also explore lesser-known destinations like Carloforte in Italy, Syros in Greece, Mahón in Spain, and Kepez in Turkey. The season will also include calls at new ports for Explora Journeys, including Çeşme in Turkey, Capri and La Spezia in Italy, and Nafplio in Greece.
