Explora Journeys Announces Itineraries Through 2026

Explora Journeys, the luxury brand from the MSC Group, has announced sailings for EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II through to April 2026.

These newly-announced voyages range from shorter journeys of 6 to 8 nights to longer voyages of 19 to 21 nights. Homeports will include Barcelona, Rome, Miami, and Bridgetown. As with all voyages from Explora Journeys, the itineraries are designed with a slower pace of travel in mind, some sailings including overnight port stays.

As the brand continues to grow and expand it is important that we listen to feedback and respond. As such, we have decided to refine our journey planning and I have been involved in designing the new journeys, drawing on my own travel experiences, bringing the personal touch that is at the heart of Explora Journeys,” said Pierfrancesco Vago, Executive Chairman Cruise Division of MSC Group. 

Explora Journeys ships are the pinnacle of small vessel luxury cruising, offering a feeling of intimacy and exclusivity. Each vessel has six diverse restaurants, 11 bars and lounges, four swimming pools, and ocean-inspired wellness facilities. 

Following is a look at the 2024-2026 itineraries by ship. 

EXPLORA I

EXPLORA I’s voyages from October 2024 to April 2025 have been revised so that the ship will now sail in the Caribbean. The ship’s winter 2024-2025 season will begin with a Grand Journey from Barcelona to the Caribbean featuring Bridgetown, Pointe-à-Pitre, St John’s, and San Juan. 

Come April 2024 through November 2025, EXPLORA I will sail the Mediterranean. Highlights include ports along the Eastern Mediterranean, Aegean Sea islands and the Dalmatian coast. For the winter 2025-2026 season, EXPLORA I will sail the Red Sea and Arabian Peninsula. 

EXPLORA II

EXPLORA II will make its debut in the fall of 2024. The ship’s maiden voyage will go from Barcelona to Rome, visiting Ibiza, Port-Vendres, Portofino, Monte-Carlo, and Port Santo Stefano. The ship will continue to sail in the West Mediterranean until November 2024, when she will cross the Atlantic to offer Caribbean journeys during the winter 2024-2025 months.

Come May 2025, EXPLORA II will head back to Europe to offer summer sailings from Barcelona and Rome. 

EXPLORA II’s winter 2025-2026 season will be spent in the Eastern Caribbean with port visits to Pointe-a-Pitre, Roseau, Little Bay, and Marigot.
