Celebrity Cruises Unveils Dining Options Coming to Celebrity Ascent

Celebrity Cruises shared details about the new eateries coming to its fourth Edge series vessel, Celebrity Ascent. Guests can experience all of these new exciting venues when the ship makes its official debut this November. 

Dining is something we are always excited to hear about when it comes to Celebrity Cruises, as they are a multi-year winner (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022) for our Members Choice Award for the Best Cruise Line for Food and Dining. From what we’ve seen coming to for dining on Celebrity Ascent, the cruise line is continuing to live up to its high rankings. 

Celebrity Ascent will offer a number of new restaurants, including a new immersive dining experience, expanded food and beverage menus, and reimagined Celebrity classic eateries.

Now, let’s take a closer look at Celebrity Ascent’s new food and beverage options. 

A New Le Voyage

Famed Chef Daniel Boulud, Celebrity’s Global Culinary Ambassador, is set to bring his restaurant concept at sea to Celebrity Ascent at Le Voyage. This is the second Le Voyage on a Celebrity ship. The restaurant will feature an all-new elegant design with neutral and gold tones, and banquet seating. 

The menu at Le Voyage was created by Chef Boulud himself, and inspired by his travels around the world. At Le Voyage guests can opt for the Chef’s Table, a private, 6-seat dining room serving a multi-course tasting dinner complete with exceptional wine pairings.

Plant-Based Menu Coming to Eden 

Multi-use venue Eden will return to Celebrity Ascent with a twist. This unique three-level venue wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows offers entertainment spaces, a cocktail bar, a lunch cafe area, an outdoor terrace, and night-time entertainment. 

One of the highlights of Eden is its signature restaurant, serving a menu that features fresh seasonal ingredients. On Celebrity Ascent, guests can opt for Eden’s new seven-course plant-based tasting menu, serving ingredients that have been sourced from their original place of origin and presented in the most natural state. A sample of the menu highlights includes a Golden Beet-Tomato Ceviche, Ajoblanco Panna Cotta, Roasted and Glazed Celeriac Steak, or the Dry Rose Petals Masala Curry.

Expanded Main Dining Offerings

As with all Edge Series ships, guests on Celebrity Ascent can enjoy four main dining restaurants - New American cuisine at Cosmopolitan, Mediterranean at Cyprus, French contemporary at Normandie, and Italian at Tuscan. Combined, these restaurants offer travelers more than 84 different dishes to choose from. 

The Cosmopolitan restaurant has been given a new design on Ascent, featuring a new layout and seating throughout. 

Return of Le Petit Chef, Fine Cut, and Blu 

Frequent Celebrity Cruises guests will mark the return of restaurants Le Petit Chef, Fine Cut, and Blu. 

Immersive high-tech dinner/story experience Le Petite Chef is back on Celebrity Ascent with an all-new four-course dining show told in the style of a fairytale as the tiny chef comes across a mysterious magical cookbook with whimsical recipes full of surprises. 

Fine Cut Steakhouse, which serves an impressive selection of prime cut meats, will offer a  new dish – the Lemon Poached Lobster Tail with melted leeks, shiitake mushrooms, and lobster ravioli with house-made sauce. 

Guests staying in Celebrity Ascent’s Aqua Class can enjoy al fresco breakfast at dinner at Blu’s new outdoor terrace space. 

New Bars & Beverage Options

At the heart of Celebrity Ascent is The Grand Plaza (a staple of Edge series ships) with its signature wrap-around Martini Bar. Sitting beneath The Chandelier, a breathtaking light fixture-meets-art installation that comes alive during the cruise line’s iconic Flair Bartender shows. The Martini Bar on Ascent will feature an expanded new menu, with classic martinis, fruit-infused creations, and dessert martinis. 

Celebrity Cruises will introduce a new partnership to the beverage program on Celebrity Ascent - WhistlePig Whiskey. Ascent will feature two hand-selected barrels made exclusively for Celebrity Cruises, with special pours and flights served at Craft Social. Vinofiles will rejoice at Ascent’s extensive wine collection. 

November Launch 

Celebrity Ascent is slated to make its debut this November, sailing Caribbean cruises from Port Everglades. Its first cruise, sailing November 22, 2023, will be a 4-night Western Caribbean voyage, followed by a 3-Night Bahamas getaway on November 26, 2023. It will sail a 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise on December 3, 2023.
