Atlas Ocean Voyages to Have Two Yachts in Arctic for 2024 Season

Luxury expedition operator Atlas Ocean Voyages has announced it will offer sailings on two yachts in the Arctic for its 2024 season. World Traveller and World Navigator will sail 11 total expeditions for the season, with voyages ranging from seven to 12 nights. 

Departures for Arctic sailings will go from Tromso, Oslo, Longyearbyen, Reykjavik, and Kangerlussuaq. The season will run from the end of June through September 2024. 

Following are some of the highlighted itineraries for Atlas Ocean Voyages 2024 season:

• A 7-night expedition from Tromsø to Longyearbyen departing June 21, 2024, with stops in Hammerfest, Skarsvåg (North Cape), and Svalbard.
• Roundtrip 9- and 11-night cruises roundtrip from Longyearbyen, Svalbard, where each day unfolds a tapestry of polar landscapes and wildlife encounters. Departures on June 28 and July 7, 2024, and an extended 11-night expedition departs on July 16, 2024.
• New expeditions visiting Greenland, as well as Svalbard, and Iceland. Choose from expeditions of 9 to 12 nights for an unforgettable experience: Aug 5, Aug 15, Aug 21, Aug 25, Sept 1 and Sept 6, 2024.
• A unique expedition from Oslo to Reykjavik on August 10, 2024. Visits Bergen, Stavanger, Flam, Olden, and Alesund, crosses the Norwegian Sea, then visits the. Icelandic ports of Seyðisfjörður, Akureyri, and Isafjörður. 

Expeditions embarking or concluding in Longyearbyen or Kangerlussuaq have charter flight inclusions. World Voyager voyages starting/ending in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, on August 15, 2024, charter air flights from Oslo are also included, while expeditions beginning/ending on September 1, 2024, aboard World Navigator, include charter air flights from New York JFK airport. The New York City charter flight to and from Kangerlussuaq is the first for 2024 and is being offered on voyages departing August 21, 2024, from Reykjavik or September 1, 2024, from Kangerlussuaq.

All Polar Expeditions from Atlas Ocean Voyages include a free cultural immersion experience. Some of these opportunities may include visits to indigenous villages in Greenland, or in Longyearbyen, a panoramic drive, and a welcome aboard event.
