2026 Cruisetours Announced by Holland America Line

Holland America Line has announced its lineup of 2026 Cruisetours. These vacations allow guests to combine a  Holland America Alaska cruise with a journey into Denali National Park and Canada’s Yukon Territory. The 2026 season will offer a series of 18 itineraries, offering travelers more access to Alaska’s glaciers, wildlife, and wilderness. 

Each Cruisetour will visit Denali National Park and includes days at sea on Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Westerdam, or Zaandam. Guests can choose if they want to go overland or cruise first. Travelers who wish to extend their Alaska adventures can choose an itinerary that visits Canada’s Yukon Territory, which includes land stops in Whitehorse and Dawson City. Holland America Line is the only cruise line to take guests into the heart of the Yukon.  

As the cruise operator owns its motorcoaches, railcars, and hotels, Holland America Line guests get preferential schedules on Cruisetours. Each itinerary includes a scenic ride on the glass-domed McKinley Explorer train, with select itineraries adding on the White Pass & Yukon Route railroad from Skagway. Other itineraries offer Direct-to-Denali service, taking guests from the ship to their Denali hotel room on the same day. All Yukon itineraries include a Tour Director. 

Cruisetour guests stay at Holland America’s Denali Lodge, situated at the edge of Denali National Park. The Lodge (formerly known as McKinley Chalet) offers breathtaking views of the national park and abundant wildlife.

2026 Denali Cruise Tours

Nieuw Amsterdam and Westerdam will offer Denali Cruisetours ranging from nine to 14 days between Vancouver, Canada, and Anchorage or Fairbanks, Alaska. All Denali Cruisetours include a seven-day Glacier Discovery cruise featuring Glacier Bay and the Alaskan ports of Juneau, Ketchikan, and Skagway, plus either College Fjord or Hubbard Glacier (depending on direction) and the Inside Passage. The land portion includes up to three nights at the Holland America Denali Lodge. 

A 14-day Ultimate Denali tour includes an overnight at Homer and visits to Fairbanks and Anchorage before or after a seven-day cruise. 

All single one-day Classic Alaska & Denali itineraries include a complimentary Denali Natural History Tour in Denali National Park, with the opportunity to see Alaska’s “Big 5” (bears, moose, Dall sheep, caribou, and gray wolves) in their natural habitat. Two- and three-night itineraries include the Tundra Wilderness Tour, which brings guests 43 miles into Denali National Park. 

2026 Yukon & Denali Cruisetours 

Yukon & Denali Cruisetours range from nine to 17 days and include either a three- or four-day Inside Passage cruise on Koningsdam or Zaandam or a seven-day Glacier Discovery cruise on Nieuw Amsterdam or Westerdam with a two- or three-night stay at Denali and Dawson City. Yukon & Denali Cruisetours also feature overnights at Fairbanks, Anchorage, and Skagway (depending on the Cruisetour).  
A new 13-day Alaska, Denali, and Yukon Cruisetour aboard Nieuw Amsterdam or Westerdam will be offered in the coming season. This journey begins in Fairbanks, followed by an included flight to Dawson City before heading to Denali for three days. Next, guests head to the ship via railway before embarking on a seven-day cruise to Vancouver. Guests booking this Cruisetour will experience three complimentary tours - Riverboat Discovery in Fairbanks, the Klondike Gold Tour in Dawson City, and the Tundra Wilderness Tour in Denali National Park.  

New for 2026, all Yukon & Denali itineraries will include the Klondike Gold Tour in Dawson City and the Tundra Wilderness Tour at Denali National Park. Guests can see the original discovery claim that launched the Klondike Gold Rush and Gold Dredge 4 with a Parks Canada guide. 

Holland America Line Cruisetour guests on 2026 Yukon and Denali Cruisetours will experience one of the newest UNESCO World Heritage sites: Tr’ondëk-Klondike. This site incorporates Dawson City, a town significant to the history and the cultural impact of Indigenous peoples from the Klondike Gold Rush.

Bookings for these newly announced 2026 Cruisetours from Holland America Line are now open to book.
