How to Spend a Day on MSC Seashore

The opportunities for fun on MSC Seashore are endless! - Photo by Cruiseline.com

MSC Cruises’ newest and largest ship, MSC Seashore offers so many activities, dining venues, and entertainment options that pre-planning your time onboard is highly recommended. To help narrow down the possibilities, here’s our suggested ideal day on MSC Seashore

Morning

Wake Up and Catch the Sunrise!

MSC Seashore's 'Bridge of Sighs' is the perfect location to watch the sunrise.  - Photo by Cruiseline.com

One of the best parts of being on a cruise is catching spectacular sunrises over the ocean, and MSC Seashore offers a multitude of outdoor activities perfect for starting your day with a view. No matter where you are cruising, we recommend catching a sunrise from one of MSC Seashore’s most unique viewing spots: the suspended Infinity Bridge or at the 16th deck ‘Bridge of Sighs’. These two locations offer spectacular uninterrupted waterfront views that make for great vistas and photos.

Breakfast Time

Next, head inside to the Marketplace Buffet on deck 16 to grab a coffee and tasty breakfast. The buffet serves a wide variety of pastries, eggs, meat items, fruit, savory dishes, and more each morning for breakfast. Enjoy the ocean views from a table next to a window, along with a cappuccino delivered by a member of the MSC crew.

Pool Time

After you are done eating, it’s time for some fun in the sun. Depending on the pool experience you are looking for, MSC Seashore has something for everyone! The Jungle Pool is directly by the buffet area and features a retractable roof that makes for the perfect option for sunny or cloudy days. The Long Island pool is the main outdoor pool and features numerous lounge chairs, a large bar, and spectacular views. Entertaining kids? Head to the Pirates Cove Pool. This nautical-themed area features a water park, slides, and suspended ropes bridge.

Afternoon

Grab Lunch

Ready for lunch? For an included option on MSC Seashore, at least one (sometimes more) of the Main Dining Rooms are open at lunchtime for a seated, plated lunch experience. For a quick option, head back to the Marketplace Buffet for pizza, salads, and sandwiches, and more.

If you are looking to try something special, HOLA! Tacos and Tequila offers tasty Mexican and Latin American-inspired fare and margaritas. You can also grab a seat at Kaito Sushi bar and pick out roll and sashimi selections as they whirl by on a conveyor belt. Both of these restaurants are specialty options with an added cost.

Enjoy a Thrill

Next up, it’s time to try something new. Head to the Hall of Games, where you can experience the thrills of riding in an F1 sports car through a virtual simulator or go ‘whitewater rafting’ at the Run the River VR rafting experience.

Relax!

Time for a little ‘R-n-R’. Head to the Aurea Spa and try any of the numerous massages, facials, or body treatments. This zen-like haven is the perfect spot to let your cares float away, literally. The Spa offers Dry Floatation treatments, a unique experience where you can float in a zero-gravity tub. After your treatment, head to the Thermal Area for a wet or dry steam, take a dip in the refreshing plunge pool, or head to the Spa’s private deck to enjoy the outdoor whirlpool.

Grab a Snack

Evening

Watch the Sunset & Grab a Pre-Dinner Cocktail

As the sun goes down, the best place to check out the view is poolside at the Aft Infinity Pool. Grab a cocktail at the Infinity Bar and watch the incredible views as you sail on by.

Dinner

The dinner seating at one of the Main Dining Rooms offers a three-course meal and wine pairing. In addition, you can expect a variety of selections of fish, meat, or vegetarian courses.

Looking for a specialty experience? We recommend checking out Ocean Cay, serving gourmet seafood cuisine, or the Butcher’s Cut steakhouse.

Enjoy a Nightcap

After the show, head down to the Atrium for cocktails and to enjoy one of the numerous live performances by some of the best entertainers on the sea. Looking to test your luck? Head up to the Casino in the Times Square district and try your hand at blackjack, poker, roulette or slot machines.

Enjoy a robust selection of wines and great conversation at the Wine Cave Bar. - Photo by Cruiseline.com

Want a more subdue location to enjoy a nightcap? We recommend Wine Cave Bar, a unique wine cellar and tasting room, or grab a glass of bubbly at the Champagne Bar and toast to a great day at sea.
