The ship was in poor physical condition. There were holes in the walls in some areas. The staff was completely unenthusiastic and in many cases rude. We saw 2 passengers trip and fall with employees all around them and not one employee approached them to ask if they were seriously injured! On day 3 we found a purse with a woman's wallet in it. We tryed to turn it into the bar tender on Lido deck and he informed us that we had to take it to Purser's desk on level 7. This unfortunately was basicaly the theme of the entire cruise. This cruise also takes you to back/uninhabited side of Cozumel where you are at the mercy of the weather to get to shore. Port authority could not allow tendering to shore so we were turned away and did not enter Mexico. I would reccommend checking whether your cruise docks or anchors with tendering service. Please keep in mind that I have cruised ON Carnival 4 times in the last 5 years so all comparisons were made against their own cruise line!! We have always had great experienes before and were quite surprised and disappointed!
