This is the 2nd time that we travel on Celebrity having been on a marvelous cruise on the Reflection 2 years ago. Its sister ship, the Shilouette did not disappoint. We are a group of 13 including edleries and young children and the majority of them did not speak much English therefore finding a "user friendly" ship is of prime importance (in addition to the destinations). The ship is well kept, the staff curteous, helpful and very friendly! The quality and choices of food on board remain (in our opinion) the best amongst similar cruise liners. The "added perks" for Suite Class passengers were great value for money and the services impeccable and made the passengers felt valued. The only slight draw back being that it was obviously a very popular route and at a very popular time and the ship seems to be at full capacity, which makes the public area very crowded(and makes it seem a lot smaller than the Reflection) and the only cafe offering premium tea, coffe and cakes was full to its brim on all sea days. The food in the speciality restaurant were of good quality except for the Tuscan Grille where more attention could be paid to the ingredients (especially the fishes which tasted rather stalled).

We are a family of 3 with a boy age 5, and comfort, convenience and service are the primary criteria when looking for a cruise. As frequent cruiser, the Reflection surprises us in three areas: The efficiency of their staff ( in comparison to Oasis of the Sea and the Disney Magic), the exceptional quality of on board dinning (both the regular dinning and specialty dinning) and the friendliness of the team. We are very well looked after throughout the voyage. The attention to details in the public areas, such as the special dinning areas, the lounges, the library, the hideaway are all very welcoming. The preferred docking (being the only cruise ship that docked at Mykonos) and the chilled tower and welcome back drink whilst re-boarding the ship at each port is a nice and welcomed treat especially after a long hot and often exhausting day on excursion. The only slight draw back of the ship though, are the size and cleanliness of its pools and the comfort of bed. In all, for family with children who is looking for a no fuzz, cultural, scenic and comfortable cruise, the Reflection and this specific itinerary would no doubt exceed your expectations.

Book a suite if possible, the added perks and the attention given to suite guests makes it worth the extra monies.
