We departed Valparaiso on March 13 for 14 days. This was our 13th cruise but first with Celibrity. The ship was somewhat tired but is going to dry-dock in November. The food was great in the dining room and the buffets, definately better than other big ship cruise lines. Entertainment was good but typical for a cruise ship. The ship was not crowded even though it was sold out and appreciated the availability of deck chairs. The service level was excellent with the crew friendly and very helpful. The average age of the passenger was probably 60 to 75 which meant the entertainment was geared accordingly.

The boarding process was simple and straight forward. The ship was clean and crew was very accessible and professional. The food was amazing including the buffet lunch and dinner in the main dining room. The pasta bar is great and there were many healthy options. Entertainment was good but not great.

Embarkation was easy and less than 5 minutes at noon. Ship was ready and rooms available at 1:30 with luggage arriving at 4. Cabin was 9149 had a veranda and was nice, typical of celebrity cabins. No noise issues day or night. Dining room was great with good choices for dinner, wait staff was outstanding. Ship was clean and laid out well. Disembarkation was slow due to US immigration (sequestor).
