We booked our cruise about 8 months in advance, before departing. We had been on 2 other cruises before. This one was so convenient. It sailed out of the Port of Tampa. This was the easiest cruise we have ever taken. We parked in front of the port and our bags were immediately removed and the vehicle was quickly removed and placed into valet parking. Once we were on the ship, the atmosphere changed. There was a sense of freedom. The music was playing and they were selling the tropical drinks. The waiters and the waitresses were so courteous, including the people that were cleaning the boat. Each day there was a calendar of events. I could not wait to get the ship's brochure for the next event. Being on the boat is so exciting. You forget about all your worries. It is about getting away and enjoying yourself. This was the first year my husband and I went on our own. No friends and no family. We always had someone to talk to. Everyone was on our cruise to enjoy themselves. During dinner our head waiter was the best. She made sure we got everything on time and always had a smile. She smiled even when we just saw her on the other decks. My husband and I pampered ourselves at the SPA. That was great, just a sense of relaxation. Then there was the Dune Buggy/Snorkeling in Cozemel. This was excellent! Our guides were fantastic! My husband was in heaven driving the Dune Buggy through the beach and the sites were beautiful. I can't wait to go back on the Inspiration. It is a much smaller ship than the ones we have traveled before, but it is very cozy and entertaining. I recommend this ship to anyone. The people were fabulous. Thanks for having us aboard. The least thing I liked was leaving the ship. I cant wait to go next year!
