This was a great time to go to Bermuda. The weather was fabulous and beaches (other than Horseshoe; go to Elbow Beach)were not crowded and they were pristine. The Freestyle dining took a couple of days to get used to, if you are familiar with set dining times on other cruises, but once you are used to it, it goes smoothly. The buffets were hit or miss, but they did have these pretzel rolls at the New York deli that just like eating soft pretzels. They offer other restaurants for a cover fee. They will bombard you with this in a relentless fashion. The entertainment was excellent. Nice shows by the show crew, Second City comedy troupe was hilarious. They had a likable older comedian who told old jokes, but he was cute. They do have music everywhere as they say, and you could always find some sort of music somewhere. The staterooms were small as on other cruises, but the bed, pillows, and linens were high quality and comfortable. The shower is rather roomy for a cruise and had great water pressure. The housekeeping staff was warm and friendly and very helpful. One thing I disliked was that the only free pool for adults is a deep water pool. If you want to use a pool that you can relax in, you have to pay for it. Other cruises make pools like this readily accessible. See Celebrity Summit for a nice pool experience.
