My husband and I had long anticipated celebrating our 25th anniversary. We planned on taking family along (booking separate staterooms for them of course) and renewing our vows aboard ship. We love to cruise and have cruised 6 or 7 times. The trip leaving San Francisco to Mexico on 12/12/06 for 11 nights was horrific! We experienced faulty plumbing that resulted in a sewage soaked stateroom. Apathetic management more intent on blaming other departments onboard that remedying the problem. Norovirus problems. Plastic (large enough to block your throat) in soup. Hair in food. The list of problems goes on and on. We will NEVER sail on Princess again. We caution anyone planning on a cruise on the Dawn to think very carefully before signing up.
