Do not book a suite underneath the glass house. Noise constant of trollies being pulled and loaded throughout the whole night as they are now so short staffed they have to do a night shift. Reception managers aware of this and all the constant noise till 5.30 am. Complained every night throughout the night. Was a nightmare. No sleep at night meant trying to sleep in day. Then maintenance started chipping and banging away at three balconies below us on deck 7 as we were in port. They were removing old paint and repainting. Noise reverberated throughout. Could apparently hear from where you disembark. This was now above us at night and below us in the day when docked. We were going insane with sleep deprivation, and we had paid an extra £1500 for a suite and the privilege. They claimed ship was full to capacity. We even offered to be downgraded to an inside cabin for sleep. We were desperate to just get Home. I became ill second week. A lot of people onboard was sick with flu like symptoms, chest infections. Some even having antibiotic drips put up. They offered us £300 back for noise nuisance. I accepted but in retrospect should have pursued extra money back spent in suite upgrade.
