Right off the ship, there were what totally felt like the tourist trap shops. Vendors, though, weren't overly pushy. We just walked around a little bit- hadn't planned an excursion there. Wouldn't get off ship though unless we did- just wasn't anything to walk around and see. Truthfully, we didn't research that ahead of time.
I have a dtr who was extremely anxious about this trip but had such a wonderful time with her Circle C group- we enjoyed a lot of family time and some adult time as well. Staff was always helpful. We had a hiccup with our excursion but everything worked out and we had ano awesome snorkeling trip. Half moon Cay was our favorite day- such a beautiful beach. We never ate in the dining room- always the buffett lines- food was generally just ok. Guys Burger Joint was our favorite stop. We aren't big eaters so the food issue truly wasn't problematic for us. Comedy shows were pretty good. Valor was very clean, more updated than Victory, on which we cruised in January. Kids programs were wonderful and the staff their was fantastic and engaging. Looking forward to our next cruise!
