Unless you live in New York and its a cheap vacation for you I wouldn't recommend this. The food was poor and not much variety. The main dining on other cruises we've been on were better than the specialty dining on this one. The shows were pretty good but the reservation system on this ship was apparently very flawed. We made eight reservations for restaurants and shows and only four actually worked. We used their app for some and tried the box office also. Both had success and failure. The staff on the boat was nice enough but we found that many of the staff just didn't have much knowledge about what is going on around the boat. Our room was very nice as well as our housekeeper. Bermuda however was beautiful and a ton of fun. Hamilton the Capitol has a festival every Wednesday night with lots of good food and the shops are open late to pick up suveniers. 

I would absolutely suggest an Alaskan cruise. Ports are awesome with spectacular seafood and so many things to do and store to shop in. The boat itself was decent. Shows were very good but food was just mediocre. Service was pretty good too. 

This is the first cruise we have ever tried. The only thing we regret is that it spoiled us and the other cruises haven't quite matched it when it comes to the food and service we got. Every port was beautiful and had a lot to see. More than what we had time for on the majority. Would be worth doing again eventually.
