Carnival Ecstasy
Sail date: March 31, 2012
This was our 2nd cruise and we were disappointed with Carnival. Although they are called the "Fun Ship," we found most of our fun was had off the ship not on it. There was very little to do while we were at sea in terms of activities. I did go to the towel folding demo and had a ball. Went to what I thought would be a scrapbooking activity but it ended up being a 3 minute sales pitch. For 5 nights, there were only 3 shows and with the exception of the last night, they were mediocre. Comedians were good. We were booked into the Wind Star dining room. Service was OK and food was OK but neither was something to write home about. Chocolate melting cake was "to die for." Photographer for elegant night took blurry photos and lighting was way off. Won't book another cruise on Carnival.
