Worst Celebrity cruise experience
Celebrity is one of my favorite cruise lines as it caters to the 55+ age group. I have enjoyed every cruise with them except for this one. What a zoo! I might as well have been on Carnival or Disney. Kids were everywhere running up and down the halls, slamming doors at all hours of the day and night, and just generally loud and obnoxious.
The ship seemed overbooked, if that is possible. There were people everywhere. The pool area was a sea of people as was the buffet. Wait times for the Select dining in the main dining room were as long as an hour, something that has never happened before on Celebrity.
The staff was swamped, so service was below normal. Our room attendant did a poor job of cleaning, and the shower stall was dirty. We only saw him twice during the entire cruise. Toiletries were never replaced, so it was good that we had brought our own.
Bermuda was beautiful. We enjoyed our visit there very much, but we would never do this cruise again.
