First cruise on Sovereign of the Seas

First cruise on a R.C. cruise, Our suite was the best, we went with 18 people and they all were on the deck6, we were on Deck 10. I never saw their rooms, however, they all wanted to stay in ours. Clifford our stateroom gentleman was the best. We enjoyed the Coco Cay day, Island is nice, but has much seaweed and too many jelly fish, many people were too worried to enter water. we sat on the launch to go to the island for over 20 mins. for the launch to fill up and while we sat there, so did the cole slaw, pasta salad, in the sun for the entire time. needless to say, we waited until we were back on the ship to eat. speaking about the food, unlike most cruises, you eat all your dinner meals in the same dining room. no variety. food was adequate, if you love sea food or fish, you are fine each night. food was not hot, just lukewarm. we all complained but each night it was that same lukewarm. we all ate at 8"30 late seating. Had a ladies day massage treatment for $106. which was good, however the spa is directly under the basketball courts, so if you think you are going to relax, forget it. ( went with 8 ladies and we all thought the same thing) Overall, for 4 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS, IT IS OK, SHIP IS THE OLDEST IN THE FLEET. SHIP HAS BEEN REFURBISHED, HOWEVER, Carpeting even in our suite was stained and should have been replaced. We only attended 1 show, which was audience participation and fun.
