p The itinerary and ports were terrific but we had problems on board the Emerald. I have 204 days with Princess and have never encountered so many difficulties on one of their ships before, in fact we sailed on the Emerald last May and had a fabulous Caribbean cruise. We had overbilling problems and the Shorex desk personnel were rude and unhelpful. The lines were incredibly long, but promptly at 6:00 PM, they closed up and told people waiting to return next day...this happened over and over!! p On the plus side, the staff were, as always, fabulous. Incredibly cabin steward and waiters, and the Cruise Director and his staff were really terrific. Best Trivia games we have had in a long time. the entertainment was the same as always on Princess with a couple of nice guest surprises. One thing about sailing so often with the same line...we have seen all the shows over and over!!Would we sail on the Emerald Princess again? Only if there is a different captain! However we are setting out on the Crown Princess in August for a 39 day trip and will be back on the small ship, the Pacific Princess, in November, out of Rome. We still love Princess cruise lines and the perks that come with being elite passengers!
