Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas
This was our 4th cruise with RC sailing out of Galveston. We always enjoy sailing with them. The crew, food, facilities, excursions are always very good. We did think the Navigator was showing her age a little, but RC is pulling her for an overhaul and replacing her in Galveston with Liberty. RC appeals most to a middle aged and older crowd which we like much better than a rowdy, noisy, late night crowd. They're also great for younger families, too, as they're kid's program seems to be quite popular. We found no need to eat in any of the specialty restaurants as the main dining room always offered good choices and great service. I know we will go on a RC cruise again.

Expect a smaller ship, smaller cabins
Cozumel has long been a port of call for many cruise lines. Accommodates numerous ships at once. Busy port has been very nicely developed. Well organized. We did do an excursion...Mexican cooking class
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Port itself is modern, up to date. Well designed. We did do an excursion...snorkeling
Galveston is a beautiful city. Nice beaches, shopping, history. However, we did not do a formal excursion.
Liberty of the Seas
We always book a balcony cabin close to midship on deck 6. Love the balcony. Deck 6 is located such that it's easy to walk up or down flights to get where you want to be without having to wait for an elevator. Very helpful during busy times.
Amazed at how this port has been developed in just a few short years. Lovely. Did do an excursion...scuba diving
Excursion to Mayan ruins Lamanai site very impressive! Friendly locals.
Great margaritas served at cheap price $6 right on the pier in shopping mall area.
Navigator of the Seas
Whether it's the Navigator or any Royal Caribbean ship, the crew from cabin steward to dining room table waiter have always been fabulous. Ask and ye shall receive-with a smile. We asked that our room always have the ice bucket filled for the evening-no problem. Be sure to eat at Johnny Rockets-fun
