I enjoyed the entertainment provided at sea & of course enjoyed having extra time in Nassau. Was able to do more than I normally would have when visiting more than one port. Aside from the entertainment the staff is professional and courteous.

Entertainment is the best part of the cruise. I feel like I get my monies worth. The beach trip to Bamboo beach in Ochoa Rios was fun but we were cut short. The excursion was suppose to be 4 hours. The tour guides told us it was time to go in 2 1/2 hours. Not sure if it was planned that way so we could spend money at the straw market at the port but we were annoyed. Not to mention we were reminded several times about tipping.

When we got back to the port the locals were extremely pushy and did a lot of haggling to buy their goods of which most of it was the same for them all. They need to figure out a way to differentiate themselves as they all have the same items. Based on the constant haggling I refused to buy anything from anyone b/c I dont like the added pressure of how to spend my money. Although we  had fun it was disappointing b/c I expected to be on the beach 4 hours as indicated NOT 2/1/2. We got back on the ship at 3:10pm when the ship didn't leave out until 430-5.

Also, security need to be more visible at night. There were more smokers on this ship than any other time I have cruised. Most were coming on the sides of the boat at night smoking & several times there were teens who were smoking marijuana and no staff was to be seen. Smoking whether cigarettes, cigars or marijuana went on for the duration of the cruise.

Please note smokers are not a reflection of the Cruise line. I had an amazing time so no fault no foul with Carnival. I am just stating what they clearly are unaware of. As far as the excursion that is something that needs to be addressed with that vendor.
