September 2015 - 44 Night Alaska Explorer & Transpacific Crossing (Seattle To Singapore) Cruise on Statendam
Love the glaciers
September is a wonderful time to see Alaska. We were able to cruise very close to Hubbard Glacier because the weather was good.
It was the last cruise on the Statendam, but it felt like the first cruise.
Staff is wonderful, food great and we couldn't ask for anything more. Can't wait until our next cruise on Holland America

The best cruise to Alaska
We have taken many cruises to Alaska, but this was the best one yet. We got up close to the glacier and saw a lot of calving. Entertainment was great.

This was really the best trip we have taken to Hawaii. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Cabin was in the back of the ship and it was so quiet all the time. Would get this room again if we go.
Maasdam

The 14 day cruise takes you to ports other cruises don't. 14 days is almost not long enough for you to take in everything. Had a wonderful time and going back again in September for the changes in the weather.
Entertainment was good and you didn't have time to get bored on ship while out to sea. Lots of things to do and see.

We have taken this cruise (14 days) 15 times and it amazes us how it just gets better each time. We plan on going again twice next year. This was one of the best cruises so far. The captain got us very close to the Hubbard Glacier and we were able to stay there for an hour. Saw a lot of calving.

Be ready to have a very relaxing and enjoyable trip. The people who work on this ship were just the best.
Took a bus tour and what a great town
Took a bus tour and ended up at Rogers Chocolates which we do every year
This port is a fishing town, but the Russian church is just beautiful and worth seeing
Just went into town and saw all the sights
Just took in the town and walked around
Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska
It was raining, but it didn't stop us from walking through the forest.

Couldn't go here this time because of the weather
Fishing is great and be sure to go the the Salty Dog on the Spit to add your dollar bill to the wall

The Statendam is a smaller ship and there was no waiting in line for anything
